It's About Time.

Phew! This has taken me a long time to draw, I've no idea how many hours. Well, I hope it looks like him... Peter Capaldi as The Doctor (I can't wait  !) I had a few ideas about what the title should be, one being 'The Mantle of the Doctor' but I thought it sounded a teensy bit pretentious, so I stuck with 'It's About Time,' which I think I've borrowed from a Back To The Future poster - I'm sure someone out there will know for definite. It seemed appropriate on so many levels.

I've been inspired by so many brilliant dA artists, just look at my favourites folder, 'Amazing portraits', this is how good I'd love to be someday.

I used pencils from 2H through to 8B, my great new pencil eraser and lovely, smooth Bristol Board (thanks again to Paul-Shanghai for his advice!)
